Designation - Business Development Manager

About the Role
We're looking for a Business Development Manager who knows how to open the right doors and close the right deals.
This is a high-ownership, revenue-driving role where you will lead new business for Idea Mint across the entire sales lifecycle from prospecting and relationship building to pitching, negotiating, and closing.
If you come from an advertising or marketing agency background, understand how agencies sell, and have an active network in the ecosystem — this role is built for you.
Responsibilities-
- Drive new business acquisition across industries and categories
- Own the end-to-end sales cycle: prospecting → outreach → discovery → pitch → proposal → closure
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline using CRM tools
- Partner with Strategy & Creative teams to craft impactful pitch presentations
- Represent Idea Mint at industry events, marketing forums, and client meetings
- Lead commercial negotiations and ensure smooth client onboarding
- Track pipeline health, conversions, and revenue forecasts and report to leadership
- Mentor and manage BD Executive & Coordinator
Requirements-
- 5–7 years of experience in Business Development / Sales within an advertising or marketing agency
- Proven track record of closing accounts and achieving revenue targets
- Strong understanding of agency offerings (branding, digital, content, campaigns, etc.)
- Confident presenter - comfortable pitching to CMOs, founders, and senior stakeholders
- Existing network of marketing decision-makers is a big advantage
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
- Fluent in English,Hindi (spoken & written) and Marathi (Comprehensible)
