Hiring: HR & Admin Blitz Academy

Location: [Add Location Kochi / Calicut]

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role

Blitz Academy is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR & Admin Executive to manage day-to-day HR operations, recruitment, employee engagement, and centre administration. The ideal candidate should be organised, people-driven, and capable of handling both HR and administrative responsibilities efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Human Resources

  • Support end-to-end recruitment: sourcing, screening, scheduling interviews, and coordination.
  • Prepare and post job advertisements and maintain recruitment trackers.
  • Maintain employee personal files and update HR databases regularly.
  • Manage onboarding, induction, and joining documentation for new hires.
  • Track attendance, leave records, late coming, and maintain the attendance system.
  • Provide accurate HR inputs for payroll processing.
  • Assist in the performance appraisal process and maintain evaluation records.
  • Draft HR letters including offer, appointment, confirmation, warning, and other official documents.
  • Plan and execute employee engagement activities and internal communication initiatives.
  • Support training & development coordination and address employee queries, escalating critical matters to the HR Manager.

Administration

  • Manage day-to-day centre operations to ensure smooth functioning.
  • Handle student enquiries, walk-ins, counselling support, and follow-up coordination.
  • Support the counselling team with admission procedures when required.
  • Oversee fee collection, receipt issuance, fee tracker updates, and coordinate with accounts.
  • Maintain accurate data entry for admissions, enquiries, and student documentation.
  • Monitor front-office activities including calls, emails, and visitor management.
  • Oversee housekeeping, office supplies, and ensure cleanliness and safety of the centre.
  • Coordinate classroom schedules, faculty requirements, and academic support activities.
  • Manage petty cash, expense documentation, filing, and basic administrative reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline (HR specialization preferred).
  • 12 years of experience in HR, Administration, or Centre Operations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office and HR/administrative processes.
  • Highly organised, disciplined, and able to multitask effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and support cross-functional teams.
