Key Responsibilities
- Team Supervision
- Supervise and guide Room Attendants and Housemen on daily tasks
- Allocate rooms and public area duties as per occupancy
- Ensure proper grooming, discipline, and punctuality of the team
- Room Inspection
- Inspect guest rooms after cleaning to ensure brand standards are met
- Ensure rooms are ready before guest check-in time
- Maintain consistency in cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation
- Guest Service
- Handle guest requests, complaints, and special requirements promptly
- Ensure quick turnaround of rooms for arrivals and departures
- Coordinate with Front Office for room status updates
- Operational Coordination
- Work closely with Maintenance for repairs and upkeep
- Coordinate with Laundry for linen availability
- Ensure availability of cleaning supplies and guest amenities
- Inventory & Control
- Monitor usage of linen, chemicals, and guest supplies
- Report shortages, damages, or losses
- Ensure proper storage and handling of housekeeping materials
- Training & Development
- Train new staff on cleaning procedures and brand standards
- Conduct on-the-job training and refreshers
- Motivate team members to improve performance
- Hygiene & Safety
- Ensure compliance with health, hygiene, and safety standards
- Follow SOPs for chemical usage and equipment handling
- Report any hazards or incidents immediately
