Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities to ensure rooms and public areas meet brand cleanliness and quality standards.
Allocate duties to Room Attendants and Public Area staff and ensure efficient manpower utilization.
Inspect guest rooms, corridors, and public areas to ensure compliance with Holiday Inn Express standards.
Address guest requests and complaints promptly, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction.
Train, coach, and motivate housekeeping team members on SOPs, grooming, safety, and service standards.
Monitor inventory of linen, amenities, cleaning supplies, and report requirements to the Executive Housekeeper.
Ensure proper usage and maintenance of housekeeping equipment and chemicals as per safety guidelines.
Coordinate with Front Office for room status updates and priority rooms.
Maintain records related to attendance, room status, and productivity.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and fire safety standards at all times.
Support sustainability and green practices as per IHG guidelines.
Qualifications & Skills:
Diploma or certification in Hotel Management / Housekeeping preferred.
Minimum 12 years of experience in housekeeping operations, preferably in a branded hotel.
Good communication and team leadership skills.
Attention to detail with a strong focus on quality and cleanliness.
Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
