Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping staff.
- Ensure that all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas are clean and well maintained.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure compliance with cleanliness and quality standards.
- Train and mentor housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques and safety protocols.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and linens, and order as necessary.
- Address and resolve guest complaints and requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Prepare and maintain reports on housekeeping operations and staff performance.
Skills and Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in housekeeping or hospitality management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies, and their safe use.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests and staff.
- Basic computer skills for managing schedules and inventory.
