Job Description

Role Purpose

To execute and supervise all interior fit-out works at the Taj Vivanta Hotel project in Nashik, ensuring quality, timelines, brand standards, and smooth coordination between contractors, consultants, and vendors across guest rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities1) Site Execution & Supervision

Supervise day-to-day execution of hotel interior works across guestrooms, corridors, lobby, restaurants, banquet/meeting rooms, BOH areas, spa/gym, etc.

Ensure execution is as per approved drawings, specifications, mock-ups, and Taj brand standards.

Manage and coordinate multiple trades such as carpentry/joinery, gypsum/ceilings, painting, wallpaper, stone, flooring, metalwork, glazing, partitions, and associated finishing works.

2) Quality Control & Workmanship

Implement quality checkpoints and ensure workmanship meets premium hospitality standards.

Inspect and verify levels, alignments, finishes, junction details, and tolerances for snag-free delivery.

Maintain snag/punch lists, track closures, and coordinate rectifications with contractors and vendors.

3) Drawings, Measurements & Approvals

Study and interpret GFC/IFC drawings, BOQs, material specifications, and shop drawings.

Verify site measurements and setting-out prior to execution; ensure substrates are ready before finishing starts.

Support approvals for shop drawings, material submittals, samples, mock-ups, and method statements; raise RFIs where required.

4) Coordination & Interfaces (MEP + Interiors)

Coordinate with MEP teams (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire) to avoid clashes and ensure proper interface with interiors (cut-outs, access panels, fixtures, grilles, control panels, etc.).

Coordinate with designers, consultants, PMC, and vendors for clarifications and site decisions to close detailing gaps quickly.

Plan installation sequencing with vendors (FF&E, lighting, signage, artwork) to protect finished surfaces and avoid rework.

5) Planning, Progress & Reporting

Prepare daily/weekly progress updates, manpower tracking, and area-wise status reports.

Support look-ahead planning and milestone handovers; highlight risks early (design gaps, material delays, productivity issues).

Ensure work fronts are released in the correct sequence and maintain readiness for inspections and approvals.

6) Materials & Site Management

Check incoming materials against approvals; ensure correct storage, protection, and handling (veneer, wallpaper, stone, hardware, mirrors, sanitaryware).

Ensure protection of completed works (edge guards, floor protection, corner beads, wrapping, etc.) and coordinate shifting/stacking safely.

Maintain basic site documentation including WIRs/inspection checklists, daily logs, and photo records.

7) Handover & Close-Out

Support final finishing, deep snagging, cleaning readiness, and area-wise handovers.

Coordinate closure of snags and ensure final walkthrough readiness with all stakeholders.
