Hotel Sales professional drives revenue by securing group bookings, corporate accounts, and event business. Responsibilities include prospecting new clients, negotiating contracts, managing client relationships, conducting site inspections, and analyzing market trends to meet or exceed revenue targets, often collaborating with marketing and operations teams.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development: Proactively identify, target, and acquire new corporate, group, and event business through cold calling, networking, and site inspections.Relationship Management: Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and high satisfaction levels.Contract Negotiation: Negotiate room rates, function space rentals, and catering services to maximize revenue and profitability.Strategic Planning: Develop and implement sales strategies, analyze market trends, and monitor competitor activity.Reporting: Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and maintain accurate records in the CRM system.Collaboration: Coordinate with departments like front office, banquets, and housekeeping to ensure seamless execution of events and guest stays. Required Qualifications & SkillsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field.Experience: Proven experience in hotel sales, catering, or event management.Skills: Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills (verbal and written).Tools: Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Delphi) and Microsoft Office Suite.Traits: Results-driven, proactive, organized, and capable of working under pressure to meet deadlines.
