Job Overview

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Operations to join our team and oversee the day-to-day functioning of our boutique hotel. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of all hotel departments, with a focus on quality and upholding, creating events and upgrades. As the Head of Operations, you will lead a dedicated team and maintain high operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee all hotel operations, including but not limited to purchasing, inventory, and legal work

Develop and implement strategies to optimise operational efficiency and enhance the overall guest experience

Supervise and provide guidance to the department supervisors, ensuring effective delegation and coordination of tasks

Monitor and evaluate the performance of operational staff , providing feedback, coaching, and training as necessary

Collaborate with the senior management team to develop and execute business plans and budgets

Maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services

Identify opportunities for revenue growth, drive sales initiatives, and contribute to the hotel's financial success

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards throughout the hotel Stay updated with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor preferences to recommend and implement improvements

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related

eld (preferred)

Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a boutique hotel or upscale establishment

Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team

Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on results

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal stakeholders, guests, and external partners

Proficient in using hotel management software and channel manager

Passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering exceptional service in a fast- paced environment
