Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Hotel Management Lecturer at Genvoc Chef Academy, located in Mysore. The Lecturer will be responsible for delivering engaging lectures and practical sessions, preparing course materials, and devising effective teaching plans. Additional responsibilities include mentoring students, evaluating their progress, and staying updated on industry trends to ensure the curriculum aligns with current hotel management standards and practices.

Qualifications

  • Skills in Customer Service and Receptionist Duties to guide students on best practices in hospitality management and front-of-house operations.
  • Experience with Budgeting and Sales to teach financial management, forecasting, and revenue generation strategies within the hotel industry.
  • Knowledge of Food & Beverage operations to instruct students on managing kitchen and dining services effectively, including menu planning and quality control.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to deliver clear, engaging, and informative lectures.
  • Ability to mentor and inspire students while fostering a learning-driven environment.
  • Relevant academic qualifications, such as a degree or diploma in Hotel Management or Hospitality, and prior teaching or industry experience is highly desirable.
