Role Summary:
We are seeking a Hotel Contracting Manager who will be instrumental in expanding and optimizing our hotel and supplier network while driving strategic, commercially competitive contracting initiatives. This role requires a strong industry network, exceptional negotiation capabilities, and a solid understanding of inbound travel dynamics.
Key Responsibilities:
Hotel Contracting & Supplier Management
- Negotiate and finalize competitive contracts with hotels across India and the subcontinent.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Revenue Managers, General Managers, and Contracting Heads.
- Ensure best-in-market pricing, value-added inclusions, and exclusive partnerships to strengthen offerings.
- Manage contract renewals, rate validity, dates, and allocation agreements.
B2B Inbound & DMC Partnerships
- Establish and manage partnerships with ground handlers, DMCs, transport vendors, and activity providers.
- Define SLAs, rate structures, service quality benchmarks, and performance metrics.
- Ensure alignment with inbound B2B requirements and international client expectations.
Support to Sales & Operations
- Collaborate closely with Sales & Operations teams to provide competitive quotes and contracting support.
- Assist in client pitches, proposals, and itinerary building with strong commercial inputs.
- Enable faster turnaround times with pre-negotiated rates and preferred supplier networks.
MICE & Corporate Business Support
- Support Corporate & MICE business by securing:
- Group room rates
- Banquet and conference pricing
- Meeting and event packages
- Work alongside Sales during large deal closures and strategic pitches.
Rate Management & Systems
- Oversee rate loading and updates in internal systems.
- Maintain contracting calendars and ensure timely updates of seasonal rates.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of contracted data.
- Analyze market pricing trends, competitor benchmarking, and demand patterns.
- Drive contracting strategies aligned with business growth plans.
Key Skills & Competencies:
