Role and Responsibilities:
- Communicate with internal stakeholders and prepare landscape designs.
- Oversee project site plantations and landscape maintenance.
- Coordinate with project teams to develop and execute landscape plans.
- Attend site coordination meetings.
- Manage nursery operations and horticultural practices.
- Apply knowledge of fertilizers, soil conditioners, and pest control methods.
- Work with drip irrigation, rainwater harvesting, living/vertical walls, and hydroponics.
- Assist landscape designers/architects in determining planting schemes.
- Design, install, and maintain lawns, beds, shrubbery, and trees.
- Supervise grounds personnel, set schedules, and ensure quality standards.
- Instruct and record applications of pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers.
- Plan unit activities, set priorities, and enforce policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with industry professionals on new plants and ideas.
- Maintain cleanliness of assigned areas.
- Decide and implement planting schemes for landscape projects.
Requirements:
- Candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Landscape Horticulture with minimum 5 years of experience in Designing, Handling landscape projects, Plantation, Landscape site maintenance for real estate residential/commercial projects.
- Good knowledge in Plantation and project management
- Knowledge of the characteristics, growth habits and proper cultivation of a wide selection of vegetable plants and flowering bulbs, annuals, biennials and perennial plant materials, including both herbaceous and woody plants.
- Ability to manage gardening staff, give instructions and get work done
- Should be willing to travel within the city on a daily basis to monitor projects
