Role Description The Home Interior Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Lucknow, responsible for overseeing interior projects from initial brief to final handover. The role includes coordinating site surveys, reviewing drawings and material specifications, and developing detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets. The Project Manager will supervise on-site execution, monitor quality and safety, manage contractors and vendors, and ensure that work aligns with approved designs and client expectations. Daily work involves tracking material deliveries, resolving site issues, conducting inspections, and keeping stakeholders updated through regular progress reports and meetings. The role also requires close collaboration with designers, procurement, logistics, and installation teams to deliver projects on time, within scope, and to a high standard of finish.
Qualifications
- Strong project management skills, including experience with planning, scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating multidisciplinary interior or construction projects.
- Hands-on experience in expediting and working as an expeditor, ensuring timely procurement, follow-up, and delivery of materials, furniture, and fixtures to project sites.
- Knowledge of logistics management to plan site deliveries, storage, and movement of materials with minimal disruption and maximum efficiency.
- Experience with site inspection, quality checks, and compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and local regulations.
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Proficiency in reading drawings and BOQs; familiarity with design and project tools (e.g., AutoCAD, basic MS Office, project tracking software).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to manage multiple projects and deadlines on-site.
- Experience in residential interiors, modular installations, and custom furniture projects is highly beneficial.
