Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Home Collection Phlebotomist, based in New Delhi. The Home Collection Phlebotomist will be responsible for collecting blood samples at patients locations, ensuring correct laboratory practices, labeling, and timely delivery of specimens to the laboratory. Additional duties include maintaining patient safety during sample collection, managing medical equipment, and strictly adhering to hygiene standards and patient confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Blood Collection techniques and general Laboratory Skills
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology and Medicine to ensure accurate understanding and communication of medical data
- Experience or certification in Medical Assisting to support patient care effectively
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to maintaining hygiene standards
- Proactive interpersonal skills with the ability to ensure patient comfort and trust
- Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols and procedures
- A valid certification or diploma in phlebotomy or a related field
- Previous experience as a phlebotomist or in a similar role is preferred
