Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Head of Department (HOD) in Hindi at Sri Aurobindo Society Rupantar, located in Mani Majra, Chandigarh. The HOD will be responsible for developing and implementing academic plans for the Hindi department, mentoring and managing a team of instructors, designing innovative curriculum strategies, and ensuring the continual enhancement of teaching methodologies. The role also involves collaborating with other departments to achieve academic goals and maintaining an environment that fosters the holistic growth of students and teachers alike.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Hindi Language teaching with expertise in curriculum development and instructional methodologies.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills to oversee departmental operations and guide faculty members effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including educators, students, and community members.
  • Ability to foster innovation in teaching practices and proactively address challenges in the education sector.
  • Commitment to enhancing the overall quality of education and promoting an environment centered on values and continuous learning.
  • Master's degree in Hindi or related field required; teaching or educational administration experience is preferred.
  • Prior experience in rural or community-oriented educational projects is beneficial but not mandatory.
