Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a History Specialist. Responsibilities include conducting research and analyzing historical topics, contributing to Historians India's publications, reviewing and editing academic papers, curating content for workshops and educational programs, and communicating historical knowledge effectively to various audiences. The specialist will also collaborate with scholars and educators to develop training and educational resources.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in specific historical fields such as American History and a broad understanding of various historical disciplines
• Proficiency in research methodologies and the ability to analyze primary and secondary sources
• Excellent communication skills, including writing, editing, and presentation abilities
• Experience in education and training roles, with a focus on creating engaging learning materials
• A Master's or PhD in History, History Education, or a related discipline is preferred
• Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Public speaking or teaching experience and familiarity with digital tools for historical research and education are a plus
