Job Description

About the Company

We're building India's first scalable, process-driven gol gappe brand bringing hygiene, structure, and consistency to a category that's historically unorganised. Our carts deliver street food with QSR-level discipline, and our people make that possible.

Role Overview

This is a hands-on, field-focused role responsible for hiring, training, and overseeing cart operators. You will own hygiene standards, SOP adherence, and daily discipline across our cart network.

Key Responsibilities

Hiring & Onboarding

  • Source, screen, and hire cart operators using your F&B network and local sourcing channels
  • Conduct initial screening and onboarding of all new operators
  • Ensure all hires meet hygiene, discipline, and attitude benchmarks before deployment

Training & SOP Ownership

  • Create and execute structured training programs for cart operators
  • Translate SOPs into simple, practical, easy-to-follow training modules
  • Conduct hands-on training covering:
  • Hygiene & food safety
  • Cart setup and breakdown
  • Portioning and consistency
  • Customer interaction & hospitality
  • Continuously update training material as processes evolve

Quality Control & Audits

  • Conduct surprise hygiene checks and SOP audits across carts
  • Run periodic SOP quizzes and retraining sessions
  • Identify gaps in execution and immediately correct them through retraining
  • Act as the first line of enforcement for hygiene and process discipline

Day-to-Day Operator Oversight

  • Track attendance, punctuality, and daily reporting of cart operators
  • Act as the point of escalation for operator-related issues
  • Coordinate closely with operations and kitchen teams to ensure smooth daily functioning

Requirements

  • 25 years of experience in F&B or QSR operations
  • Prior experience in training frontline staff preferred
  • Strong understanding of hygiene and food safety standards
  • Existing F&B staff network is a plus
  • Comfortable with extensive on-ground work
  • High discipline, attention to detail, and people management skills

Compensation

  • 30,000 40,000 per month, based on experience
  • High ownership role with growth potential as the company scales
