Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer/Consultant with 6-8 years of hands-on experience in developing and administering applications on the ServiceNow platform. The candidate should have strong expertise in ITSM, ITAM, CMDB, SAM, HAM, Sec Ops, HRSD, GRC, and ITOM modules, with proven ability to lead development efforts and deliver scalable, efficient solutions.
Experience
- 6-8 years of relevant experience in ServiceNow development and administration.
- Expertise in at least one or two ServiceNow domains such as ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, CMDB, HRSD, CSM, or GRC.
- Experience with the Now Mobile app and with scoped applications is preferred.
- Proven track record of working independently and leading technical delivery.
Certifications
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer
Key Responsibilities
- Support, maintain, and enhance all technical aspects of the ServiceNow platform.
- Lead design, development, and customization of out-of-the-box (OOTB) and custom applications, focusing on ITX and HRSD.
- Own requirement gathering sessions and collaborate actively with stakeholders and business users.
- Convert user stories and business needs into technical solutions.
- Develop integrations with AD, MID Server, and third-party tools using SOAP, REST, and other web services.
- Create custom widgets and UI components using HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, AngularJS, Jelly Script, and jQuery.
- Manage domain separation and ensure secure role-based access.
- Perform testing and documentation for both new and existing functionality.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
- Ensure compliance with best practices, ITIL standards, and organizational policies.
