Job Description

Designation: Team Lead

Job Level: JL 4B

Work location: Bangalore (Work from office)

Exp: 4 -7 years

Notice Period: Immediate Joiners

Shift Timings: Night shift (US Shift)

Qualification: B.Com/BBA, MBA/M.Com (Full Time Education)

*Note: Team Handling Experience is mandatory.

The role of the individual is to extract, validating, and publishing accurate equity reference and corporate actions information for different actions types from mergers & acquisitions, stock splits, spin-offs, and beyond.

Your role is key in ensuring consistency of standards for the delivery of accurate and timely financial data.

Working with the team, you will be expected to drive the delivery of our day-to-day SLA, while leveraging technology to automate and evolve. You will have the opportunity for extensive collaboration with global colleagues across all business units

Required Skill Sets

1. Requires sound knowledge of the financial markets, investment securities

2. Experience of worked on corporate actions data like Dividend announcements, stock splits, name changes and other corporate structure changes

3. Able to extract and calendarize various meetings like corporate meetings, Annual general body meetings, Merger & Acquisition announcements etc

4. Exposure to review and update Corporate Action data based on source documents like press releases, etc in various internal systems and proprietary company software

5. Responsible for quality control and hence should possess knowledge of fundamental quality management concepts and their specific applications in the financial industry

6. Demonstrate proficiency in MS Excel including advanced functions and data analysis techniques.

7. Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address operational challenges

8. Show excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.

9. Display a willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies as required

10. Demonstrate the ability to work independently and as part of a team

11. Maintain a customer-focused mindset to deliver high-quality service and support

12. Team handling is mandatory

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Assist in the execution of daily operational tasks to ensure smooth workflow and process efficiency

2. Collaborate with team members to identify process improvements and implement solutions that enhance productivity

3. Monitor and track key performance indicators to ensure alignment with organizational goals

4. Support the development and maintenance of process documentation to ensure consistency and accuracy

5. Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to drive innovation and continuous improvement

6. Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all work activities

7. Capacity to function autonomously in a demanding setting, adjust to shifting priorities
