- Launch Strategy & Planning:
- Drive go-to-market strategies for new products along with respective countries and HO marketing teams
- Define clear launch milestones, timelines, and deliverables in alignment with business objectives.
- Lead launch readiness assessments at key intervals (T-12/T-6/T-3 months).
- Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure launch success and ensure continuous improvement.
- Cross-Functional Governance & Alignment
- Lead cross-functional launch governance forums; synchronize country teams, commercial leadership, regulatory planning, and supply strategies.
- Facilitate alignment between HQ brand strategy and country-level execution realities.
- Navigate cross-border launch dependencies (filed vs. approved markets, staggered sequencing).
- Influence without authority, ensuring functional accountability and transparency.
- Launch Project Management:
- Own the complete lifecycle of new product introductions across multiple markets simultaneously.
- Deploy standardized project management tools for tracking status, risks, mitigation plans, and scenario sensitivity.
- Ensure timely delivery of regulatory milestones, product artworks, pricing approvals, supply readiness, and commercial materials.
- Drive launch critical path management and escalate deviations proactively.
- Market Readiness & Execution:
- Ensure timely deployment of localized marketing assets, brand messaging, scientific narratives, digital content, and sales enablement kits.
- Coordinate competency-based field force training with Medical/Marketing.
- Prepare pricing, positioning, value statements, and competitive objection-handling guides.
- Post-Launch Evaluation:
- Analyze post-launch performance and gather feedback from sales teams, customers, and other stakeholders.
- Assess the launch's success against predefined KPIs, including sales performance, market penetration, and customer feedback.
- Conduct structured post-launch reviews at 30/60/90/180 days.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement post-launch optimization strategies.
- Portfolio & Pipeline Visibility
- Maintain forward-looking transparency on the regional launch pipeline (1236 months).
- Provide launch prioritization guidance based on market attractiveness, competitive timing, and channel constraints.
- Support portfolio scenario planning, sequencing, and cannibalization risk assessment.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Lead initiatives to improve the new product launch process, incorporating best practices, technology, and learnings from previous launches.
- Provide leadership in developing tools, templates, and processes that enhance launch efficiency and effectiveness.
