Role & responsibilities
Academic Leadership
- Lead, plan, and oversee all academic programs and activities.
- Ensure effective implementation of curriculum as per university/board/regulatory guidelines.
- Promote innovation in teaching, learning methods, and assessment practices.
Curriculum & Quality Assurance
- Review and update curricula to ensure relevance, rigor, and industry alignment.
- Ensure compliance with accreditation, affiliation, and statutory requirements.
- Monitor academic quality, learning outcomes, and academic performance metrics.
Faculty Management & Development
- Guide, mentor, and evaluate faculty members.
- Identify faculty development needs and organize training, workshops, and seminars.
- Foster a culture of academic integrity, research, and collaboration.
Student Academic Affairs
- Oversee academic advising, evaluation, examinations, and grading processes.
- Address academic grievances and ensure fair academic practices.
- Support student success, retention, and progression initiatives.
Research & Academic Growth (where applicable)
- Encourage research, publications, and academic collaborations.
- Support interdisciplinary programs and academic partnerships.
Administration & Coordination
- Coordinate with Heads of Departments, Examination Cell, IQAC, and Administration.
- Prepare academic calendars, timetables, reports, and documentation.
- Assist in strategic planning and institutional development initiatives.
