Description
We are looking for an experienced ETL Testing professional to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ETL processes, data validation, and quality assurance to ensure our data systems operate effectively and meet business requirements.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute ETL test cases to ensure data quality and integrity.
- Collaborate with data engineers and business analysts to understand data requirements and specifications.
- Perform data validation and reconciliation between source and target systems.
- Identify, document, and track defects in the ETL process, ensuring timely resolution.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices for ETL testing.
- Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
Skills and Qualifications
- 4-10 years of experience in ETL testing or related field.
- Strong knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
- Proficiency in SQL for data validation and querying.
- Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, or similar.
- Familiarity with data modeling and database design.
- Understanding of data quality frameworks and methodologies.
- Knowledge of automation testing frameworks for ETL processes is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
