Position Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and research-driven Medical Content Writer Intern to support our content development initiatives. This internship is ideal for freshers or students from life sciences or healthcare backgrounds who are eager to build a career in medical content writing. High-performing interns may be offered a full-time role upon successful completion of the internship.
Key Responsibilities
- Research medical, clinical, and healthcare topics from credible and authentic sources.
- Create clear, accurate, and engaging content including articles, blogs, patient education materials, website content, and social media posts.
- Assist in ensuring content accuracy, compliance, and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Edit, proofread, and update content based on feedback.
- Work closely with senior writers, marketing teams, and subject matter experts.
- Maintain proper referencing and ensure plagiarism-free content.
Eligibility & Required Skills
- Graduate or final-year students from English hons., Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, Biotechnology, Medical, or related fields (B.Sc., M.Sc., B.Pharm, etc.).
- Strong command of written and spoken English.
- Ability to understand and explain medical concepts in simple and reader-friendly language.
- Good research skills and familiarity with credible medical sources.
- Attention to detail with basic editing and proofreading skills.
- Minimum typing speed of 2530 WPM with good accuracy.
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
- Interest or exposure to medical writing or healthcare content.
- Basic understanding of SEO, keywords, and digital content practices.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare trends.
