Develop and implement strategic plans to drive API sales in Europe, targeting both regulated and semi-regulated markets.
Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, competitors, and potential business partners.
Build and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities through market intelligence and relationship-building.
Serve as the primary contact for European clients, including pharmaceutical companies, CMOs, and distributors.
Lead customer communications, commercial negotiations, contract finalizations, and onboarding processes.
Ensure a high-quality customer experience through timely follow-ups, technical support, and issue resolution.
Achieve sales targets and regional business goals through proactive sales planning and execution.
Forecast revenues, track performance, and implement corrective measures to meet or exceed targets.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Regulatory, R&D, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Legal, and Quality teams to ensure customer satisfaction and timely deliveries.
Represent the company at international pharma exhibitions, conferences, and B2B meetings in the EU.
Drive proposal creation, pricing strategy formulation, and submission of commercial offers.
Coordinate with finance and logistics for timely payments and seamless dispatch of products.
Work with regulatory teams for timely filing and approval of DMFs and CEPs for priority APIs.
Experience:
814 years of experience in Business Development for APIs, with at least 4 years handling the Europe region.
Strong network of European pharma customers, especially in the generic and specialty segments.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Science (B.Sc) or Pharmacy (B.Pharm)
Master of Business Administration (MBA), preferably in Marketing, International Business, or related field
