Description

We are seeking a motivated Desktop Support Engineer to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will provide technical assistance and support to our internal users, ensuring smooth operation of IT systems and enhancing the overall user experience.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support to end-users for hardware and software issues.
Diagnose and troubleshoot desktop and laptop issues including operating systems, applications, and peripheral devices.
Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and applications according to company standards.
Assist in setting up and maintaining user accounts and permissions in Active Directory.
Document support issues and resolutions in the ticketing system.
Collaborate with IT team members to improve support processes and user experience.

Skills and Qualifications

1-2 years of experience in desktop support or a related field.
Proficiency in Windows operating systems (Windows 10, 11) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Familiarity with troubleshooting hardware issues for desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
Experience with remote support tools and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).
Basic understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective user interaction.
