Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Professor of Computer Science/Information Technology located in Mohali district. Responsibilities will include designing and delivering undergraduate and postgraduate courses, conducting impactful research in the field of CS/IT, guiding student projects and dissertations, and mentoring students for academic and professional growth. The role also involves publishing high-quality research papers, engaging in curriculum development, and contributing to the overall academic environment within the university.

Qualifications
  • Ph.D. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (completed or thesis submitted)
  • Strong expertise in teaching and curriculum design in CS/IT
  • Proven ability to publish high-quality research in recognized journals and conferences
  • Proficiency in guiding undergraduate and postgraduate projects and research work
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and mentorship skills
  • Knowledge of modern technological trends in CS/IT, including emerging fields
  • Experience with interdisciplinary research and grant proposal writing is a plus
  • Commitment to contributing to the university's mission and the academic growth of students
