Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position located in the Mohali district, for the role of Assistant Professor in Computer Science/Information Technology. The successful candidate will deliver lectures, conduct workshops, and guide research in the areas of Computer Science and IT. Responsibilities include developing course material, mentoring students, publishing research, and actively contributing to departmental activities and initiatives. Candidates with recently submitted Ph.D. theses are also encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Ph.D.; candidates with a thesis submitted are eligible.
• Proficiency in teaching core Computer Science and IT subjects, developing curriculum, and facilitating interactive learning experiences.
• Experience in research publication, paper presentation, and contributing to academic journals.
• Skills in guiding and mentoring students in academic and research projects.
• Familiarity with the latest trends and technologies in Computer Science and IT, including programming, data science, artificial intelligence, and other related areas.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
• Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of teaching and contributing to the academic community at large.
• Relevant teaching or research experience at the university level will be an added advantage.
