YOUR TASKS
HIL-PU Job Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) systems for product testing.
- Executing written and verbal instructions relating to HIL-based plant models.
- Determining system specification and recommending improvements to existing systems.
- Configuring HIL test environments.
- Reporting and documenting test results for HIL simulations.
- Interacting closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure product performance and reliability.
- Troubleshooting and resolving problems related to HIL simulations.
- Conducting validation tests to ensure the system meets regulatory and safety standards.
- Training other team members on HIL simulations and related tools and processes.
- Ensuring the success of HIL simulation projects within the set deadline and budget.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of latest HIL technologies and applying them to operational improvement.
- Participating in professional development courses and seminars to continuously enhance technical skills.
- Source and evaluate suppliers for lighting components such as LED drivers, LED chips/COBs, housings, PCBs, optics/lenses, fixtures, wiring accessories, and related materials.
- Request quotations (RFQs), analyze price comparisons, and negotiate cost, delivery terms, and payment conditions.
- Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure timely supply, competitive pricing, and consistent quality.
- Coordinate with production, design, and quality teams to understand material requirements and specifications.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of materials to avoid production delays.
- Process purchase orders (POs) and maintain accurate procurement records.
- Track purchase orders for ontime delivery and resolve any discrepancies related to quantity, quality, or documentation.
- Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, delivery, cost, and service parameters.
- Stay updated with new lighting technologies, industry trends, and component innovations.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings through vendor development, bulk ordering, or alternative sourcing.
- Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Handle logistics coordination, including shipment tracking, freight arrangements, and customs documentation (if applicable).

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent work experience.
Proven experience in a similar role may be advantageous.
Strong knowledge of industryspecific skills, tools, and technologies.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities, with strong organizational and timemanagement skills.
Proven problemsolving abilities with the capability to make sound decisions promptly.
