Overview

We are seeking a Fund Accounting Manager to oversee and enhance core fund accounting activities and ensure accurate, timely NAV review and approvals. This role partners closely with internal teams, thirdparty administrators, custodians, and various stakeholders to maintain strong operational controls while supporting transparency and scalability across the fund platform.

Key Responsibilities

Calculate and review monthly estimated and final fund net asset values (NAVs); analyze NAV reconciliations with thirdparty administrators and custodians

Review, reconcile, and oversee the calculation and payment of management and performance fees

Review client capital statements prepared by thirdparty administrators for accuracy and completeness

Assist in coordinating and guiding team members in responding to client and internal requests

Review customized client reporting, including return calculations and performance metrics

Support the setup, onboarding, and launch of new funds and investment products

Review capital call and distribution calculations and approve related investor notices

Process and oversee investor subscriptions, redemptions, and other investor payments

Leverage technology and outsourced solutions to improve operational efficiency, scalability, and control

Partner with reporting teams to ensure accurate presentation of fund data in audited financial statements and regulatory filings

Review legal and governing documents (e.g., LPAs, PPMs, side letters) to assess fund accounting and operational implications

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or Finance

10 years of experience in fund accounting, public or private accounting, audit, or fund administration

Experience with hedge funds preferred

CPA preferred; audit experience strongly preferred

Strong Excel skills with the ability to analyze and manipulate complex data sets

Excellent analytical, technical, and written/verbal communication skills

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently

Collaborative team player with a proactive mindset and willingness to support colleagues
