Job Description: Product Owner (Equity-Based) – HiWoxRole Overview
We are looking for a
Product Owner who will define, build, and scale
innovation-led healthcare products at HiWox. This is a
core, high-ownership role focused on converting
healthcare ideas into structured, deployable, and scalable products.
This is not a feature-management role — you will work across
research, innovation, technology, and real-world deployment to take products from
concept → pilot → market-ready solutions.
Equity Structure (Important)
- This is a pure equity-based role (no fixed compensation initially)
- 3–4 rounds of discussions → 1-month NDA-based working cohort → Core team agreement
- Equity finalized post funding & Pvt. Ltd. registration
- 5-year vesting structure
- Fixed compensation begins post funding
- You will be part of a core 25+ member equity team being built
Key Responsibilities
- Product Vision & Strategy (Core Focus)
- Define and own the product roadmap aligned with HiWox's innovation vision
- Identify high-impact problem statements in healthcare and wellness
- Translate ideas into clear product structures and execution plans
- Innovation to Product Conversion
- Work closely with innovation and research teams to convert concepts into usable products
- Define product requirements, workflows, and user journeys
- Ensure balance between innovation depth and practical usability
- Pilot Execution & Product Validation
- Lead pilot programs and real-world testing of products
- Gather feedback from users, partners, and stakeholders
- Refine products to achieve strong product-market fit
- Product System Design & Scalability
- Build scalable product architectures and frameworks
- Ensure products can be deployed across multiple locations and use cases
- Standardize processes for repeatability and growth
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with tech, data, operations, marketing, and healthcare teams
- Align product development with execution realities and user needs
- Act as a bridge between strategy, innovation, and implementation
- Data-Driven Product Decisions
- Define key metrics, KPIs, and success benchmarks
- Use data and insights to improve product performance and outcomes
- Continuously optimize based on real-world usage patterns
- Founder's Office & Strategic Support
- Work closely with the founder on product direction and long-term roadmap
- Support high-priority initiatives and rapid product iterations
- Contribute to positioning HiWox as a product-led healthcare innovation company
Who Should Apply
- 2–6 years experience in product management, product strategy, or startup roles
- Strong interest in healthcare, innovation, or deep-tech products
- Experience in building 0→1 or early-stage products
- Ability to think in terms of systems, not just features
- Strong problem-solving, execution, and ownership mindset
