Role Overview
We are looking for a
Healthcare Innovation Officer who can lead
end-to-end innovation—from idea to IP to market deployment.
This is a
core, high-impact role where you will be responsible for identifying problems, building solutions, creating intellectual property, and ensuring that innovations are
practical, scalable, and launch-ready.
This is an
equity-only role, ideal for someone with
strong experience in IP/patents and product creation from scratch, who wants to build a
deep-tech healthcare startup.
Key Responsibilities1. Innovation & Product Creation (0→1)
- Identify high-impact problems in healthcare and wellness
- Design and develop new products, systems, or models from scratch
- Convert ideas into testable prototypes and pilot-ready solutions
- IP & Patent Development
- Identify patentable innovations across products, processes, and systems
- Conduct prior art research and novelty validation
- Lead or support patent drafting and filing processes
- Work with legal experts to build a strong IP portfolio for HiWox
- Research & Validation
- Conduct structured research and experimentation
- Validate concepts through real-world testing and pilots
- Ensure innovations are backed by data, usability, and scalability
- Product-to-Market Execution
- Work closely with operations teams to deploy and test innovations on ground
- Iterate products based on feedback and performance data
- Ensure smooth transition from prototype → pilot → scalable model
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with data, operations, and healthcare teams
- Align innovation with business viability and operational feasibility
- Contribute to building a system-driven innovation pipeline
- Strategic Innovation Roadmap
- Build and maintain a pipeline of innovations and product ideas
- Prioritize initiatives based on impact, feasibility, and scalability
- Contribute to long-term vision, positioning, and valuation strategy
