About the Role: Head - Solutions

At Bureau, we are looking for a strategic, customer-first, and commercially driven Head – Solutions to lead our pre-sales and solution engineering function.

This role sits at the heart of revenue growth — partnering closely with Sales to win complex enterprise deals through strong discovery, compelling solution design, and flawless execution of demos, POCs, and technical validations.

You will own the entire pre-sales lifecycle: from qualification and technical strategy to architecture, POCs, and successful handoff to implementation. You'll lead a high-impact team that translates customer problems into scalable, outcome-driven solutions while influencing product direction and enabling faster deal closures.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Pre-Sales Strategy & Deal Ownership (Core Focus)
  • Partner with Sales from late discovery through deal closure as the technical deal owner.
  • Lead customer workshops, deep discovery, and solution scoping conversations.
  • Craft tailored demos, POCs, and technical narratives aligned to customer KPIs and ROI.
  • Translate product capabilities into clear business value and measurable outcomes.
  • Influence buying committees by addressing technical, security, and compliance concerns.
  • Improve win rates, shorten sales cycles, and increase deal sizes through consultative solutioning.
  • Solution Design & Architecture
  • Design scalable, API-first architectures and integration blueprints for enterprise customers.
  • Map requirements to platform capabilities, configurations, and workflows.
  • Recommend best practices across data flows, SDK integrations, and deployment patterns.
  • Identify gaps early and propose creative, configuration-led or architectural solutions.
  • Ensure performance, reliability, and compliance across all designs.
  • POCs, Pilots & Technical Validation
  • Own end-to-end execution of POCs and pilots for strategic deals.
  • Define success metrics, hypotheses, and measurable outcomes for each engagement.
  • Coordinate with Product and Engineering to fast-track custom requirements and blockers.
  • Ensure seamless transition from POC to production implementation.
  • Technical Relationship Management
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor to prospects and customers.
  • Proactively manage objections, risks, and dependencies during evaluations.
  • Support security reviews, technical due diligence, and RFP/RFI responses.
  • Build long-term credibility with enterprise stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Provide structured field feedback to Product on roadmap priorities and customer demand.
  • Work closely with Engineering on integrations, edge cases, and complex use cases.
  • Enable Customer Success with strong handoffs and clear implementation documentation.
  • Bridge external customer needs with internal capabilities to ensure delivery excellence.
  • Enablement & Thought Leadership
  • Build reusable demo environments, solution playbooks, and integration templates.
  • Train Sales and GTM teams on technical positioning and value-based storytelling.
  • Represent the company in customer forums, webinars, and industry events.
  • Establish scalable processes and best practices for the Solutions function.

What You'll Bring

To shine here, you should have:

  • 8+ years in Pre-Sales, Solutions Engineering, Technical Consulting, or Solution Architecture roles.
  • Proven experience supporting enterprise sales cycles and closing complex technical deals.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in APIs, SDKs, SQL, Python, and system integrations.
  • Demonstrated success running POCs, pilots, and production-grade implementations.
  • Ability to communicate equally well with CXOs, business leaders, and technical teams.
  • Experience influencing product strategy based on field insights.
  • Strong ownership mindset with a balance of strategy and hands-on execution.
  • Experience in fraud, identity verification, risk, fintech, or security domains is a strong plus.
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
