A. ABOUT THE FOUNDATION

SK Sikka Vidya Vikas Foundation is a newly established family charitable foundation committed to advancing meaningful and sustainable social impact in India.

Inspired by the values and legacy of Late Mr. Surendra Kumar Sikka (19342025)a visionary leader, economist, industrialist, and philanthropistthe Foundation seeks to contribute to society through thoughtful initiatives that empower individuals, strengthen communities, and promote responsible stewardship of our natural and social environment.

B. THE ROLE

We are seeking a Head Social Impact & Programs who will play a pivotal role in building and leading the Foundation's initiatives from the ground up.

This individual will be responsible for conceptualizing, planning, and implementing programs, building partnerships with NGOs and institutions, and ensuring that the Foundation's initiatives create meaningful and measurable social impact.

This role will also help shape the Foundation's long-term social impact strategy and guide the development of programs that create lasting and scalable outcomes.

C. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Program Strategy & Development

Develop the Foundation's social impact strategy aligned with its core focus areas.

Help define long-term impact goals and program priorities for the Foundation.

Identify opportunities for impactful programs in education, women empowerment, animal welfare, and environmental sustainability.

Design structured initiatives, campaigns, and projects for the Foundation.

2. Program Implementation & Management

Lead the planning and execution of Foundation initiatives and projects.

Develop annual program plans, budgets, and implementation frameworks.

Coordinate with partner organizations, consultants, and volunteers for program delivery.

3. Partnerships & Collaboration

Identify and build relationships with NGOs, academic institutions, community organizations, and relevant stakeholders.

Explore partnerships that strengthen the Foundation's initiatives and extend its reach.

Engage with experts and organizations working in the Foundation's focus areas.

4. Impact & Program Monitoring

Establish frameworks to track program progress, outcomes, and measurable social impact.

Maintain documentation, reports, and program evaluations.

Ensure transparency and responsible use of resources.

5. Foundation Development

Help shape the Foundation's long-term social impact roadmap and program structure.

Recommend initiatives, collaborations, and activities aligned with the Foundation's mission.

Support the leadership team in building a credible and respected philanthropic institution.

D. CANDIDATE PROFILE

We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of the development sector and experience managing social initiatives.

715 years of experience in NGOs, foundations, CSR programs, or social impact initiatives.

Demonstrated experience in program development, partnerships, and project execution.

Strong understanding of the social development ecosystem in India.

Experience working with NGOs, community organizations, or development sector networks.

Excellent planning, coordination, and leadership abilities.

Educational background in Social Work, Development Studies, Public Policy, or related fields will be an advantage.
