Strategic Supply Chain Leadership
. Define and implement supply chain strategy aligned with overall commercial and business objectives for both Domestic & International projects.
. Support bid and project teams with accurate cost inputs, vendor intelligence, and supply risk assessments.
. Drive localization, alternate sourcing, and long-term supplier partnerships.
Procurement & Vendor Management
. Lead procurement of major solar EPC materials including modules, inverters, structures, cables, BOS, and balance materials.
. Develop and manage strategic supplier relationships negotiate long-term contracts and frame agreements.
. Ensure vendor evaluation, onboarding, performance monitoring, and compliance with ESG and quality standards.
Cost Optimization & Commercial Control
. Achieve cost reduction through strategic sourcing, value engineering, and bulk negotiations.
. Monitor market trends (module pricing, freight, duties, raw materials) and advise leadership on cost impacts.
. Work closely with CCO on pricing strategy, margin improvement, and commercial risk mitigation.
Logistics, Warehousing & Inventory
. Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, customs clearance, warehousing, and site deliveries.
. Optimize inventory levels to balance working capital and project timelines.
. Ensure material traceability, loss prevention, and site coordination.
Project Coordination
. Collaborate with Engineering, Project Execution, and Planning teams to ensure material availability as per schedules.
. Proactively identify and resolve supply chain bottlenecks impacting project timelines.
. Support claims, back-to-back contracts, and change management related to material scope.
Team Leadership & Governance
. Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing SCM and procurement team.
. Establish SOPs, governance frameworks, MIS, and digital procurement processes.
. Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and statutory norms.
