Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for the Head of Sales at VMax Wellness in Coimbatore. The Head of Sales will be responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy to drive revenue growth and customer acquisition. This role requires a seasoned sales leader with a deep understanding of the health and wellness industry, a proven track record in sales leadership, and the ability to inspire and manage a high-performing sales team.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve company revenue targets.
- Identify and pursue new market opportunities and customer segments in the health and wellness space.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales and marketing strategies.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales professionals, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Set clear sales targets and performance goals for the team and provide regular feedback and coaching.
- Recruit, onboard, and train new sales team members as needed.Customer
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Track, analyze, and report on sales performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Utilize CRM tools and other software to manage sales pipelines and forecasts.
- Prepare regular sales reports for senior management, highlighting key trends and opportunities.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Leadership
- Work closely with other departments (e.g., Marketing, Product, Customer Support) to ensure a cohesive approach to business growth.
- Participated in strategic planning sessions to align sales initiatives with overall company goals.
- Represent the sales department in senior leadership meetings, contributing to company-wide decision-making.
Experience
- 12 + years of sales experience with at least 8 years in a leadership role, preferably in the health and wellness industry or from a leading consumer tech company.
- Experience with e-commerce or online sales strategies is highly desirable.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
Skills
