About the Company

Our client is a leading defence tech start up with proven expertise in their field and strong product portfolio. As a part of their future growth, they are expanding globally and are looking for a seasoned R&D professional with experience across hardware and software product development to lead their engineering team.

Roles and Responsibilites

As Head - R&D, you will lead a high performance team of 50+ engineers, driving the technology vision and product development.

This is a high impact role requiring a balance of deep technical expertise, strategic foresight and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities for the role will include R&D leadership, managing end to end product lifecycle and defining technology roadmap for the organisation.

Skills and qualifications

• At least 15 years experience in R&D, specifically building complex products in EW requiring integration of both hardware and software.
• Deep expertise in Signal Processing, RADAR, AI & Automation, Robotics and software architecture.
• Strong domain understanding of aerospace, defence, space tech or allied industries.
• Proven track record of leading large teams for product development from concept to delivery stage.
• Masters degree or PhD in relevant engineering discipline from a reputed institute.
