Head - Project management (Construction/Maritime site)
We are seeking an experienced Head for Project Management to lead the planning, development, and delivery of major infrastructure, port transformation, construction and sustainability initiatives.
You will lead a team of project professionals and oversee a portfolio of high-value CAPEX and integrated development projects that support the company's growth and long-term masterplan.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of infrastructure and development projects, from feasibility studies through commissioning.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration with Operations, Commercial, IT, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
- Manage consultants, contractors, tenders, contracts, and regulatory approvals.
- Develop and implement the port infrastructure masterplan, balancing current operational needs with future growth.
- Champion sustainability initiatives, including decarbonisation, energy efficiency, and green infrastructure solutions.
- Oversee maintenance strategies for critical infrastructure to ensure safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance.
- Build and develop a high-performing project management team while providing technical leadership and strategic direction.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction, or related discipline.
- Minimum 15 years experience in infrastructure development within the construction, maritime, logistics, or related industries.
- Minimum 5 years in a leadership role managing teams and complex project portfolios.
- Proven track record delivering large-scale CAPEX projects and engaging senior stakeholders, authorities, consultants, and contractors.
- Strong project management, leadership, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
- Passion for coaching teams and driving continuous improvement.
