Position Overview

The Head, Process & Supplier Quality Assurance role leads the Quality function to define and implement strategies that enhance product quality, process reliability, and customer satisfaction. This position provides technical and administrative leadership across the plant, ensuring compliance with global standards and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define, develop, and implement a comprehensive quality strategy to strengthen the QE function and improve product yield.
  • Assure reliability and consistency of production by monitoring processes and outputs.
  • Recommend and implement changes to production processes or quality controls to eliminate recurring issues.
  • Lead Process and PPAP audits conducted by customers and ensure timely closure of findings.
  • Maintain accurate records of quality reports, statistical reviews, and documentation.
  • Drive customer satisfaction by resolving issues promptly and exceeding expectations.
  • Support cross-functional teams in implementing corrective and preventive actions effectively.
  • Develop, motivate, and challenge team members through coaching, feedback, and training programs.
  • Ensure compliance with ESD Controls and Product Regulatory requirements across the plant.
  • Lead and sustain management systems including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ESD S20.20.
  • Ensure closure of customer complaints using the 8D format and resolution of nonconformities.
  • Apply quality tools such as Pareto analysis, 5-Why analysis, FMEA, Control Chart, and Cause & Effect analysis to drive process improvements.
  • Oversee In-Process and Out-Going Quality Control functions to maintain product standards.

Required Experience & Qualifications


  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering with 60% throughout.
  • Experience: 18+ years in quality assurance, process, and supplier quality management.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead and develop quality engineering teams and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ESD S20.20, PPAP, FMEA, and advanced quality tools.
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical, customer-focused, and problem-solving orientation with a commitment to continuous improvement.
