Job Description

  • Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for the plant, including blue-collar and technical staff.
  • Collaborate with line managers to forecast and plan workforce requirements.
  • Ensure a smooth and structured onboarding process for new hires.
  • Employee Relations
  • Act as a liaison between plant employees and management to promote a harmonious work environment.
  • Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution in accordance with labour laws.
  • Maintain positive employee relations.
  • Compliance & Labor Law
  • Ensure statutory compliance related to labour laws, factories act, ESI, PF, gratuity, etc.
  • Coordinate with legal advisors and government agencies during inspections and audits.
  • Performance Management
  • Implement and monitor the performance appraisal process at the plant level.
  • Support department heads in setting KPIs and conducting performance reviews.
  • Learning & Development
  • Identify training needs and implement learning initiatives for skill and competency development.
  • Maintain training records and track training effectiveness.
  • HR Operations
  • Oversee attendance, payroll coordination, and HRIS data accuracy.
  • Manage accurate employee database, documentation, and recordkeeping.
  • Engagement & Culture
  • Organize engagement activities, reward and recognition programs, and communication forums.
  • Drive initiatives to improve morale, productivity, and retention.

The Successful Applicant


15-20 years of experience with an engineering degree (any stream) and MBA degree (any stream).

Strong understanding of labour laws and factory compliance.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Problem-solving and conflict resolution capabilities.

High integrity and ability to handle confidential information.

Ability to deal with Senior Leaders of the organisation.
