Your tasks and responsibilities:
- You are responsible for the disciplinary management and ramp-up of a new production team and ensure the smooth planning, coordination, and on-time delivery of a complex radiation-based cancer therapy device.
- During the setup and pre-launch phase of the new production line for radiation-based cancer therapy device you will act as the local project lead to ensure operational readiness.
- You foster a culture of continuous improvement through targeted employee development, knowledge sharing, and personal responsibility.
- You actively drive projects for process optimization, localization, Kaizen activities, automation, visualization, and digitalization in the production environment.
- You ensure appropriate production stand-ups, regular management reporting locally and to HQ and follow-ups on decisions made.
- You professionally work together with peers in Source, Procurement, Finance and Process engineering to address upcoming changes and e.g. escalations due to material shortfalls or quality issues.
- You are responsible for personnel and resource planning, process and material control, internal coordination, and proactive capacity and space planning.
- You ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements for medical devices.
- You select new team members, design their onboarding process, and promote an appreciative, performance-oriented team culture.
- You work closely with the logistics, process technology, product and process development, and facility management departments to ensure smooth operations and sustainable improvements.
Your qualifications and experience:
- You hold a degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
- You have leadership experience in production, logistics or process engineering.
- You have several years of professional experience in logistics, production and/or process planning for manufacturing areas, combined with sound leadership experience

- You have already successfully demonstrated your leadership skills in a technical, project-related, or initial disciplinary leadership role.
- You have sound experience with product and process development projects for implementation in series production
- A good track record in project management and experience e.g. in localization projects is advantageous.
- Your skills include IT and database expertise, as well as in-depth SAP/R3 knowledge (process planning, logistics, maintenance).
- You are familiar with the regulatory requirements in medical device manufacturing in India and have basic knowledge of country requirements abroad.
Your profile and skills:
- You have fluent English skills, both written and spoken, and very good skills in Hindi. Basic German skills are welcome.
- You have proven expertise in production systems, Lean and its tools (e.g. Kanban, 5S, A3)
- You are used to apply AI support-tools in daily work
- You work in a structured and independent manner, with a high degree of personal responsibility.
