Job Description

  • To lead the treasury function for a large sized industry leader
  • To be a part of a fast-paced organisation

Job Description

  • Manage the organisation's liquidity to ensure efficient cash flow and funding for operations.
  • Develop and implement short-term and long-term treasury strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Oversee risk management processes, including foreign exchange, interest rates, and other financial risks.
  • Maintain relationships with financial institutions to secure favourable terms and conditions for banking services.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to treasury operations.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports and forecasts for senior management.
  • Lead and mentor the treasury team to achieve high performance and professional growth.
  • Collaborate with other departments for effective financial planning and execution.

The Successful Applicant

  • Qualified CA is a must
  • 15+ years of post-qualification experience
  • Proven expertise in treasury management, preferably within the manufacturing or retail industries
  • Prior experience in managing cross-border & international treasury ops is a preference
  • In-depth knowledge of financial instruments, cash management, and risk mitigation strategies
  • Proficiency in financial reporting and forecasting tools
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in working with cross-functional teams in a corporate environment
