Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Technology to lead our technology department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, combined with proven leadership skills to drive innovation and technology strategy within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the technology strategy aligned with the company's business goals.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a diverse team of software engineers and technical staff to foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Project Oversight: Oversee the planning, development, and implementation of software projects, ensuring they meet quality standards and are delivered on time and within budget.
- Technical Expertise: Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to guide the team in adopting best practices and innovative solutions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, marketing, and operations, to ensure technology solutions meet business needs.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including executives and clients, to provide updates on technology initiatives and project statuses.
- Budget Management: Manage the technology budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost-effective solutions.
Qualifications- Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in software engineering.
- At least 3 years in a leadership role, managing teams and technology projects.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.).
- Strong understanding of programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Java, Python, .NET).
- Experience with cloud technologies and infrastructure (AWS, Azure, etc.) is a plus.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and inspire teams, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
