Job Title: Head of Social Media & Influencer Marketing

About the Role
Orchids The International School is seeking a senior marketing leader to head its Social Media and Influencer Marketing function. This role will be responsible for building and scaling social and influencer-led strategies that support brand trust, parent engagement, and admissions growth across multiple regions.
The role requires strong strategic thinking, hands-on execution capability, and experience driving measurable outcomes through social and influencer channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and own the overall social media and influencer marketing strategy across platforms including Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, and emerging channels.
- Build, manage, and scale influencer partnerships including parent creators, educators, subject-matter experts, and relevant lifestyle creators.
- Develop and oversee always-on and campaign-led content systems aligned with brand, admissions cycles, and city-level priorities.
- Work closely with performance marketing, brand, and admissions teams to ensure social and influencer content supports lead generation and conversion objectives.
- Define and track clear KPIs such as reach quality, engagement, lead contribution, cost efficiency, and conversion impact.
- Drive continuous experimentation through A/B testing, content format optimization, and creator performance analysis.
- Manage external agencies, creators, and internal teams to ensure timely, highquality execution.
- Ensure brand safety, consistency, and compliance across all social and influencer activities.
- Monitor platform trends, creator ecosystems, and competitor activity to inform strategy.
Qualifications & Experience
- 7-12+ years of experience in social media, influencer marketing, or content-led growth roles.
- Proven track record of building and scaling influencer and social programs with measurable business impact.
- Experience working with multi-city or large-scale consumer brands preferred.
- Strong understanding of Indian social platforms, creator ecosystems, and audience behavior.
- Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including performance marketing, brand, and business stakeholders.
- Prior experience in education, parenting, consumer brands, or trust-driven categories is a plus
