Job Description

Job Title: Sales Head - Semi-conductor

Location: Bengaluru

Reporting To: Business Head

About the Role

We are seeking a high-impact Sales Head for Semi-conductor sector with a strong hunting mindset and proven success in new logo acquisition. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in identifying new market opportunities, acquiring strategic clients, and driving aggressive revenue growth across Semi-conductor sector offerings. This role demands a leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at building pipelines from scratch, and converts opportunities into long-term partnerships. The incumbent will play a critical role in expanding market presence, winning new business, and establishing a strong foothold across key industry verticals.

Responsibilities

  • Hunting & New Logo Acquisition – Drive aggressive new business development by identifying, targeting, and acquiring new logos across Semi-conductor sector. Build a strong pipeline through prospecting, networking, market intelligence, and strategic outreach.
  • P&L Ownership & Financial Management – Own the revenue and profitability for the vertical with a strong focus on new business contribution. Drive top-line growth through new client wins and ensure sustainable margins.
  • Business Growth & New Client Acquisition – Develop and execute go-to-market strategies focused on new logo acquisition, competitive positioning, and expansion into untapped markets and accounts.
  • Strategic Client Relationship Management – Engage with CXOs and key decision-makers to understand business challenges and position tailored Semi-conductor sector solutions. Build trust and convert prospects into long-term strategic clients.
  • Operational Excellence & Delivery Governance – Act as the primary point of contact for key pursuits, leading end-to-end sales cycles including negotiations, commercial structuring, and closure of large deals and MSAs.
  • Executive SPOC & Stakeholder Engagement – Sales Leadership & Team Development – Lead from the front in hunting activities. Mentor and drive the sales team to build strong pipelines, achieve new logo targets, and consistently exceed sales goals.
  • Collections & Risk Management – Ensure strong commercial governance, including contract compliance, timely collections, and risk mitigation for all new accounts. Work closely with delivery and recruitment teams to ensure seamless onboarding and execution for newly acquired clients, ensuring high client satisfaction from day one.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering / Technology / Business Administration
  • MBA (preferred)
  • Certifications in Sales, Strategic Management, or Leadership are an added advantage

Required Skills

  • Proven track record in hunting and new logo acquisition within Semi-conductor sector
  • Strong experience in selling T&M, Managed Services, and IT staffing solutions
  • Demonstrated success in building pipelines and closing large deals
  • Expertise in P&L ownership with focus on new business revenue
  • Strong CXO-level engagement and consultative selling skills
  • Experience leading high-performance sales teams in a target-driven environment
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and deal-closing capabilities

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in the Semi-conductor sector
  • Advanced strategic thinking and planning skills
