Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Head of Sales, located in North Bengaluru. The Head of Sales will be responsible for managing the sales operations, forming and driving strategic sales initiatives, overseeing account management activities, and leading the sales team to achieve performance targets. Responsibilities also include analyzing market trends, identifying growth opportunities, and building strong relationships with key clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.

1. Sales Strategy & Planning

Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with business goals

Identify new markets, customer segments, and revenue opportunities

Set sales targets, forecasts, and budgets

2. Team Leadership & Management

Build, lead, and mentor the sales team (regional managers, account executives, etc.)

Set KPIs and monitor individual/team performance

Conduct training, coaching, and performance reviews

Qualifications

  • Strong Sales and Sales Management skills to develop strategies, execute sales plans, and achieve targets
  • Proficiency in Account Management to maintain and strengthen client relationships
  • Analytical Skills to interpret data, forecast sales, and identify market opportunities
  • Experience in Team Management with a focus on motivating, coaching, and leading high-performing sales teams
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Proven track record of achieving sales goals in a competitive market
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
  • Familiarity with the piping or manufacturing sector is a plus
