About the Opportunity
We are posting this opportunity on behalf of a confidential organization building a next-generation corporate learning business. This is a discreet mandate to lead and scale a new revenue line focused on video-based microlearning solutions for enterprises, with a strong focus on the US mid-market.
Role Overview
The organization is looking for a sales leader to build and scale its Corporate Learning & Development business from the ground up. This role combines GTM ownership, revenue generation, and team building, with a clear mandate to establish a strong foothold in the North American market.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and execute the Go-To-Market strategy for North America, including positioning, outreach, and deal strategy
- Build, hire, and scale a high-performing sales team, establishing structure, targets, and accountability
- Drive end-to-end sales cycles, from lead generation to closing deals with L&D and HR stakeholders
- Develop and refine sales playbooks, messaging, and outreach strategies tailored to US mid-market buyers
- Generate pipeline through prospecting, outbound efforts, and relationship-driven selling
- Build and maintain relationships with HR and L&D decision-makers across target organizations
- Deliver accurate sales forecasts, pipeline visibility, and revenue reporting to leadership
- Collaborate with product and delivery teams to ensure strong customer experience and feedback loops
- Operate in a founder-like capacity, adapting quickly and driving execution in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
- 10+ years of B2B sales experience, with a strong focus on selling into HR / L&D functions
- 5+ years of experience in building and managing sales teams
- Proven success in selling training solutions, learning platforms, or HR tech products
- Strong experience in prospecting, pipeline building, and closing new business
- Deep understanding of corporate training needs and enterprise buying processes
- Experience selling into US mid-market companies
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Comfortable working remotely while engaging with North America-based clients
- Prior experience in a startup or early-stage environment preferred
- Existing network within HR / L&D leadership is a strong advantage
- High ownership mindset with the ability to operate independently and scale from zero
