Exp: 10-15 years
Role Purpose
Lead and integrate Quality, VPS/Lean, and Environment functions at the site level. Drive operational excellence, management system deployment, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement, while building a strong performance-driven culture.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Integrate objectives across Quality, VPS & Environment
- Drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement
- Lead cross-functional best-practice implementation
- Represent the plant in regional and group forums
Quality & Compliance
- Own manufacturing quality KPIs and performance management
- Lead audits, RCA, CAPA, and quality governance
- Ensure product, process, certification, and regulatory compliance
- Deploy and sustain management systems (ISO, internal/external audits)
VPS / Lean Excellence
- Lead the site's Lean/VPS transformation
- Build CI culture through coaching and capability development
- Drive SQDCPE, A3 problem-solving, and structured improvement systems
Environment
- End-to-end responsibility for environmental compliance
- Drive sustainability initiatives (emissions, waste, water, energy)
People Leadership
- Build high-performing teams through coaching leadership
- Create a culture of accountability, trust, and excellence
Required Skills
- Engineering degree (Mechanical/Automobile or related)
- 10+ years experience in Tier I/II manufacturing
- Strong expertise in Quality systems, Lean/VPS, ISO 9001/14001
- Proven leadership, problem-solving, and cross-functional capability
- Self-driven, execution-focused, and people-oriented leader
