Our client is a leading stainless steel kitchen equipment manufacturing company, known for delivering high-quality products through strong manufacturing practices and operational excellence. As the organization continues to scale its production capabilities, we are looking to strengthen the leadership across the production function.
Role Objective
We are seeking an experienced Production Head to lead and streamline the manufacturing operations of our stainless-steel Equipment fabrication facility. The focus of this role is to bring structured Japanese manufacturing practices, drive shop floor discipline, and ensure strong ownership across production and assembly lines.
The ideal candidate should have prior exposure to Japanese manufacturing environments, preferably within elevator manufacturing or sheet metal industries, where precision, process control, and operational discipline are critical.
Key Responsibilities
Production Leadership
- Lead and oversee end-to-end manufacturing operations of stainless-steel kitchen equipment products.
- Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency, and cost control.
Assembly & Shop Floor Operations
- Take full responsibility for metal fabrication processes.
- Drive efficiency across fabrication, forming, assembly, and finishing stages of production.
Japanese Manufacturing Practices
- Introduce and reinforce Japanese production culture including Kaizen, 5S, process discipline, and continuous improvement practices.
- Establish a structured and process-driven production environment.
Operational Excellence
- Monitor production performance and implement improvements to enhance productivity and process efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, timelines, and operational accountability.
Team Leadership
- Lead and guide production teams to ensure strong accountability and ownership on the shop floor.
- Develop a culture focused on precision, responsibility, and continuous improvement.
Candidate Profile
- 8+ years of experience in fabrication and as well as a production leadership role
- Strong background in stainless steel manufacturing, sheet metal fabrication, or elevator manufacturing environments.
- Prior experience working with Japanese manufacturing companies is mandatory.
Mandatory Requirements
- Candidates must be capable of bringing Japanese manufacturing culture, discipline, and operational rigor into the production environment.
- Hands-on experience managing assembly lines and shop floor teams is mandatory.
- Strong exposure to Kaizen, 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and structured production systems is mandatory.
- Proven ability to drive process discipline, operational efficiency, and production accountability across manufacturing teams.
- Excellent Communication, Interpersonal and Leadership Skills
