Role Description
We're looking for a Production Head to own end-to-end manufacturing operations — from raw material sourcing to finished goods dispatch. You'll be responsible for scaling production while maintaining the authentic taste and quality our customers love.
What You'll Do:
- Own daily production planning, scheduling, and output targets across SKUs
- Set up and continuously improve SOPs for processing, packaging, and quality checks
- Manage and develop the factory floor team — hiring, training, shift planning
- Drive yield improvement, reduce wastage, and optimize cost per unit
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI regulations, GMP standards, and internal quality benchmarks
- Coordinate with procurement for timely raw material availability and vendor quality
- Work closely with the supply chain/logistics team to ensure on-time dispatch for D2C and quick commerce channels
- Own inventory management of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods
- Set up and track production KPIs — output per shift, rejection rates, downtime, cost per kg
- Lead capacity planning as we scale to new SKUs and higher volumes
What We're Looking For
- 5–10 years of experience in food manufacturing/production, ideally in snacks, bakery, or traditional Indian foods
- Hands-on leader comfortable working on the factory floor daily
- Strong understanding of food safety (FSSAI, HACCP) and quality systems
- Experience scaling production from small/mid-scale to higher volumes
- Good command over Hindi; ability to manage a blue-collar workforce effectively
- Familiarity with costing, BOM management, and basic ERP/inventory tools
Nice to Have
- Experience with D2C or quick commerce supply timelines
- Background in traditional Indian sweets/snacks manufacturing
- Prior experience setting up a new production facility or line from scratch
