Position Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Head of Procurement to lead and manage the entire procurement function across multiple commercial fit-out projects. This role requires strong leadership capabilities, deep industry knowledge, and the ability to drive cost optimization, vendor excellence, and process efficiency at an organizational level.
The ideal candidate will play a critical role in building procurement strategies, strengthening vendor networks, and ensuring timely and cost-effective project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead the overall procurement strategy aligned with business goals, project timelines, and budgets.
- Oversee end-to-end procurement operations including sourcing, vendor management, negotiations, and contract finalization.
- Build and maintain a strong network of vendors, contractors, and suppliers across interiors, construction, and related services.
- Drive cost optimization initiatives while maintaining quality and compliance standards.
- Lead contract negotiations, ensuring favorable commercial and legal terms for the organization.
- Collaborate closely with design, projects, finance, and leadership teams for seamless project execution.
- Monitor procurement KPIs, budgets, and performance metrics across projects.
- Ensure timely issuance of purchase orders, material delivery, and vendor payments in coordination with internal teams.
- Implement and improve procurement processes, systems, and controls to enhance efficiency and transparency.
- Conduct market research and benchmarking to stay updated with pricing trends and new sourcing opportunities.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the procurement team, ensuring high performance and accountability.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and quality standards.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in procurement within commercial interiors, fit-outs, or construction industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proven expertise in vendor development, contract negotiation, and cost management.
- Strong understanding of materials, interiors, BOQs, and project execution.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, procurement tools, and MS Office.
- Ability to manage multiple high-value projects simultaneously under tight timelines.
