About the Job:
Deven Choksey | DRChoksey Group is building a next-generation, AI-enabled Personal Equity platform aimed at serving investors across segments through a digital-first, advisory-led, and research-backed approach.
We are looking for a business-first, digitally fluent leader to build and scale this vertical with complete ownership. This is not a legacy book-management role it is a platform-building mandate with responsibility for strategy, acquisition, advisory framework, and long-term franchise creation.
The selected candidate will work closely with the Promoter and leadership team in a startup-style environment supported by institutional-grade research, technology, and compliance infrastructure.
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Platform & Business Building
- Build and scale the Personal Equity vertical from the ground up.
- Design the operating model covering acquisition, advisory, engagement, and retention.
- Establish scalable frameworks for onboarding, servicing, and retention.
- Identify growth levers across digital, partnerships, and advisory networks.
2. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
- Drive acquisition of equity-focused investors across segments.
- Build long-term advisory-led relationships.
- Develop high-conviction, research-backed investment engagement strategies.
- Ensure a seamless, digital-first client experience.
3. Product & Investment Alignment
- Collaborate closely with research and investment teams.
- Translate research insights into structured client positioning.
- Identify emerging equity themes and align platform strategy accordingly.
4. Digital & AI Integration
- Leverage AI-driven tools and analytics for investor engagement and portfolio monitoring.
- Optimize platform performance through data and behavioral analytics.
- Coordinate with technology teams to enhance scalability and automation.
5. Revenue & Performance Ownership
- Own P&L responsibility for the Personal Equity vertical.
- Drive AUM/AUA growth and revenue expansion.
- Track performance metrics including acquisition cost, client lifetime value, and revenue productivity.
- Build sustainable and scalable revenue streams.
6. Leadership & Team Development
- Build and mentor a high-performance advisory and execution team.
- Establish a performance-driven and compliance-aligned culture.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with Research, Compliance, Technology, and Operations teams.
Skills Required:
1. Domain Skills:
- Strong understanding of Indian equity markets and capital market ecosystem.
- Experience in wealth management, advisory, broking, or equity platform businesses.
- Exposure to AUM/AUA-driven revenue models.
- Knowledge of equity products and related investment instruments.
- Understanding of SEBI regulations and compliance requirements in advisory/equity businesses.
- Ability to convert research insights into actionable investment positioning.
2. Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with digital investment platforms and CRM systems.
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making capability.
- Comfort working with AI-enabled tools for client engagement and tracking.
- Knowledge of performance metrics such as AUM growth, client acquisition cost, and revenue productivity.
- Proficiency in MS Office, reporting dashboards, and presentation tools.
3. Managerial Skills:
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong ownership orientation.

Qualification & Experience:
- MBA (Finance/Marketing) / CA / CFA (preferred) / Equivalent financial qualification.
- Relevant NISM certifications preferred.
- 512 years of experience in Equity Markets, Wealth Management, Advisory, Broking, or Investment Platforms.
- Demonstrated experience in client acquisition and AUM/AUA-led business growth.
- Exposure to scaling a vertical or managing revenue responsibility preferred.
- Prior P&L ownership experience will be an added advantage.
